Yep, the humble selfie is once again helping to raise money for charity. This week, the Cancer Research #nomakeupdselfie has handed over to The Body Shop and Teenage Cancer Trust's #SelfiEsteem.
While a series of gigs are kicking off at London's Royal Albert Hall to raise money for the charity - Ed Shearan, Paulo Nutini and comedians Micky Flanagan and Jason Manford are all involved - the #SelfiEsteem effect is taking hold too.
So what's the deal? For every selfie posted on Twitter or Instagram tagged with #SelfiEsteem and @thebodyshopuk, The Body Shop will donate £1 to the cause*.
That's right, you'll be donating without even actually donating, and helping to boost the self esteem of teenage cancer patients too.
Now here's where it gets even easier. You can keep your makeup on (hurrah) and the selfie can be of you anywhere, doing anything.
Last year, The Body Shop raised £500k for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Want to help them raise £1 million?
Get tweeting your selfies to @thebodyshopuk using #SelfiEsteem!
(*The Body Shop will donate £1 for entries made by 31st March 2014 capped at £10,000.)
