So what the heck is it and why do we need one? Here's all your EE cream queries answered.
What is EE cream?
EE stands for 'extra exfoliation', which according to Women's Wear Daily, is a cream that's set to be the next product launch from American beauty company Previse Skincare.
How do you use EE cream?
The idea is that you add EE cream to your current cleanser, for an exfoliating boost.
Do we need EE cream?
At the moment, we think no. Previse Skincare's EE cream is thought to be an attempt to reclaim a piece of the exfoliation market, currently dominated by Clarisonic and its vibrating facial cleansing competitors.
If more beauty brands jump on the concept and add benefits you really can't get from other products, we'll have a rethink. But for now, just keep doing what you're doing.
What did BB, CC and DD creams do, again?
BB cream stands for beauty balm, it's meant to be an all-in-one SPF, anti-ageing, light foundation substitute. CC creams do all of that, with added colour correction. DD creams, also intended to do all of that, along with pore refinement and evening out your skin tone.
Sounds like they all do the exact same thing, doesn't it?
