Don't freak out, orange doesn't have to be scary. While there are bold tangerine's out there, you can also try a sheer hint of coloured balm, blood oranges that border on red or pinky hued coral oranges. Either way orange lipstick is a huge trend for 2014, and is sure to add some excitement to your beauty bag.

While bold shades will still be doing the rounds, nude nails are a big look for 2014. Seen all over the runway at London and New York Fashion Week, it's all about an easy luxe vibe, with a classically feminine edge. Modernise the look with square nail shapes or a matte finish, if it's feeling to safe for you.

For spring and summer 2014, make-up is all about skin looking like skin. That doesn't mean you have to ditch the foundation completely, but try experimenting with moisturisers that do more, BB creams, CC creams, colour correcting concealers and only covering up where you need it.

Nail the ponytail
The biggest hair look of 2014 is set to be the ponytail. Far from just slinging your back however, the new ponies have an expensive feel to them, and yo-yo from sports-luxe to super sleek. However you do yours, make it chic.
