Rocking a full bodied quiff plus a pretty pleat created by Charles Worthington, the actress didn't let her shorter lengths hold back the glam factor.
So, we of course had to find out how to recreate the magic!
"I wanted Alice to look striking, modern and little scif-fi since she's in the new Star Trek movie. A little surreal," says Charles.
"I'd created that look for her on a shoot we did two weeks ago and she said then that it was one for the red carpet."
STEP 1: Prepare the hair with the Charles Worthington Instant Amplifying Volume Treatment, £14.99.
STEP 2: Blow dry the hair so that it is roughly dried. "The collagen in the amplifying treatment makes the hair nice and chunky, so blow dry it upside down to get lots of volume."
STEP 3: Once the hair is 80% dry, backcomb the hair.
STEP 4: Taking a horse shoe section from temple to temple, take a flat brush and smooth your tresses.
STEP 5: Take the bottom section and make a tight roll, using long pins secure it into place. "It's all about having a system with this look, section the top off with clips and then work with the back first."
STEP 6: Now take the section at the front, sculpt and shape and pin/roll into place.
STEP 7: Spray the hair with plenty of Charles Worthington Brilliant Shine Max Hold Hairspray, £5.19, and add a little Charles Worthington Brilliant Shine All Over Gloss Spray, £5.19, for a glossy finish.
