Falling Justin Bieber sales mark the end of celebrity perfumes?

Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift's celebrity fragrances are not proving too popular. Are we over the celebrity perfume?

One Direction launch new fragrance Our Moment
The world apparently doesn't want to smell like Justin Bieber anymore as celebrity perfumes are on the decline.

Elizabeth Arden have reported a drastic drop in sales, in part owing to a declining celebrity fragrance market.

The beauty giant revealed a shares slump of 22%, with their celebrity perfumes showing a big drop off, especially from the likes of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.

But don't worry - those celeb fragrances aren't quite done for just yet.

They still account for 64% of Arden's total business, reports Market Watch.

And what is the best selling celeb perfume? Not Beyonce or Britney, Elizabeth Taylor of course - with $55 million in sales in America last year.

"A steeper-than-anticipated erosion among most celebrity license brands contributed to" the drop, said Chief Marketing Officer Kathleen Widmer.

"We remain committed to the celebrity business," she added, saying there will be new fragrances from Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears.

Apparently the exception to the rule is One Direction's fragrance, Our Moment which is still flying off the shelves. Apparently no one has any money except 1D fans. Figures.
