As if Jennifer Lawrence talking about The Hunger Games: Catching Fire while wearing an awesome crop top and sitting next to Liam Hemsworth wasn't enough, check out that braided updo!
Quite the smart-casual hair masterpiece, eh?
So if, like us, you want to recreate the Lawrence magic on your own barnet, here's how to do it...
STEP 1: Prep your hair with a blow-dry spray or bodifying mousse, to get some lift at the roots and add texture. This is especially important if your hair's squeaky clean, as it'll have far less grip.
STEP 2: The key to Jennifer's look is the casual feel of braids and twists. So starting on one side of your head, separate 3 spaced-out sections of hair (about 1inch wide each), starting just above your ear, and moving along the hairline.
STEP 3: Repeat this sectioning on the other side of your head, then tie the rest of your hair back into a ponytail. This will be the position of your bun, so take care when placing it.
STEP 4: Starting with the loose section above your left ear, braid it loosely making sure it runs smoothly backwards, then pop a small elastic on the end. Do the same with the other two sections on this side, making one a twist rather than a braid. You may need to secure that with a hair grip rather than an elastic!
STEP 5: Repeat the braiding and twisting on the right side of your head. Now you're ready to finish the look.
STEP 6: Plait your ponytail, then pull all your braids and twists towards it. Twisting all your hair together, wrap it around itself until you have a bun that's ready to pin.
STEP 7: While securing your bun with hair pins and grips, don't worry too much if a few ends poke out slightly. This will keep your look feeling glam and relaxed rather than like you're headed to a ballet exam.
STEP 8: Spritz with a hairspray for extra hold, and add a mist of shine enhancer to really nail Jen's gloss.
