Nip slip aside, Amanda Holden had her fair share of style highs on the 2013 series of Britain's Got Talent.

Her tresses were tamed and styled at the talented hands of Ben Cooke, who's been Amanda's go-to stylist backstage at BGT.

Here, Ben tells us how to achieve this gorgeous fishtail plait in five easy steps using Amanda's clip-in Beauty Works hair extensions. Good luck!

STEP 1: Start by sectioning the hair into a side parting and then clipping in the extensions, from the nape of the neck up to near the ear.

STEP 2: Loosely tongue the hair to give it more texture and make it easier to plait.

STEP 3: Starting up near the side parting, begin to French plait the hair, working diagonally to the opposite side of the head, near the nape.

STEP 4: When you reach the nape, split the hair into two and begin your fishtail plait.

STEP 5: Lastly, massage the plait to give it texture and volume and add your favourite holding spray.

What do you think? Will you be attempting Amanda's hairdo at home?
