"This loose and loopy plait style is very flattering for an oval face shape," explains hairdresser to the stars, Charles Worthington.
But how can you recreate this hair at home? We'll let Charles explain...
How to do Samantha Barks simple up do
Prep the hair with Charles Worthington Salon at Home Volume and Bounce Shampoo and Conditioner before blow drying.
"Using a volumising shampoo on the day will make the hair chunky and gutsy - it gives a really good foundation," explains Charles.
Once dry, use curling tongs and starting at the root of the hair, wind hair around the wand to give volume from the root.
Gently massage in some Charles Worthington at Home Backcomb Powder into the roots to add texture and volume whilst backcombing the roots of the hair.
"Backcombing the roots first is key to this look," explains Charles, "that way the hair is not flat to the head."
Next part the hair in the centre and loosely braid the side into pigtails and pin into each other at the nape of the neck.
Pin all remaining hair into a natural bun shape and then carefully tease out strands and sections to loosen and give an elegant but textured effect.
Finish by lighting spraying with holding hairspray to secure in place.
