I am now 14 weeks into my pregnancy and starting to feel that little bit more alive. Working 8-6 in a classroom of 18 2-4 year olds did become very exhausting at the beginning but now I am starting to last the whole day long again - instead of having to use matchsticks to keep my eyes open!
I have now started to create my baby's wardrobe although, wanting to keep the baby's sex a surprise is proving to be that bit harder when buying newborn clothes. A lot of shops sell blue or pink clothes and not much cream, lemon or white clothes.
I had my first scan around 3 weeks ago. Laying on the bed, I felt very nervous but very excited, knowing that in a few moments I would see this tiny person inside me. When seeing baby on the screen my pregnancy felt so much more real and believable.
I am happy to say after the scan date my sickness stopped and I now only feel sick every now and again, instead of every day…touch wood I haven't just jinxed myself!
