Clarence House announced that the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are expecting the royal baby in July.
According to AP, the couple "are delighted to confirm" the due date.
There's still no word on whether it's a boy or a girl though!
When the palace first announced Kate Middleton's pregnancy in early December, most reports speculated that the duchess was already about 12 weeks along. This would have meant her due date could have been May or June of 2013.
A July due date means the announcement must have come even earlier in the Duchess's pregnancy. Most women usually wait until after their first trimester before they share the news.
Perhaps the unconventional move by the royal couple was forced by Kate's worsening morning sickness, hyperemesis gravidarum.
Kate was seen looking healthy and happy at the unveiling of her first formal portrait last Thursday and the palace have confirmed that 'her condition continues to improve'.
Roll on July!
Do you think the royal baby will be a boy or a girl?
