The starlet has just released a new guide to motherhood, titled, The Kind Mama: A Simple Guide to Supercharged Fertility, a Radiant Pregnancy, a Sweeter Birth, and a Healthier, More Beautiful Beginning.
Giving tips to other new mums, Alicia's been slammed by critics, and the book's getting a pretty bad rating on Amazon with harsh comments to boot, mostly about the fact the advice she gives is merely anecdotal as opposed to based on actual research.
We've got a few of the weirdest pieces of advice. Word of warning: this may induce rage.
According to Alicia, postpartum depression is "less common" among women who adopt a vegan or plant-based diet and veganism can also help cure fertility problems, illnesses such as lupus and other medical conditions.
Don't use tampons
Alicia says: "No one's talking about the potential pesticide residues from non-organic cotton and the 'fragrances' containing hormone-upsetting, fertility-knocking phthalates that are snuggling up to your hoo-ha." Yes, she said hoo-ha.
Don't vaccinate baby
We shouldn't vaccinate our babies. She says it's bad for them, plus her son hasn't been vaccinated and he's never once been sick and was potty-trained at six months. He's just the best baby...
Potty training your kids before they can even sit up on their own is the way forward. Forget the pampers.
We should keep baby in our beds. Forcing your baby to stay in a "barred-in box, completely alone," may well lead to child neglect...we're speechless.
Now you can see where we're coming from here when we say this is all sorts of crazy.
And here she is explaining the whole thing...
