Katie Price has been rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after experiencing post-birth complications, just weeks after a traumatic caesarean section.
The star, who gave birth to her fourth child Jett Riviera eight weeks early last month, was ordered to hospital after suffering complications directly related to the premature birth of Jett in a foreign hospital.
Thankfully, after her operation, Katie was released the same day and told to get plenty of rest. Perhaps launching straight back into working on her first bridal collection was too much strain on the glamour model?
Katie's spokesperson confirmed she had a 'small' operation, but is now recovering well.
A source told the Daily Mirror, "Katie was obviously really worried, as was Kieran. It's been a difficult few months, as she has been plagued by so many complications. This was yet another problem for her to face, but once she had the emergency op, which went well, she was able to leave hospital late that night to return home to her children."
Jett was born in August weighing just 5lbs 2oz and was so premature he spent several weeks in an incubator. The couple were only able to bring their new son home at the beginning of September when he was deemed well enough to leave the hospital.
What do you think? Let's hope Katie feels better soon!
