It looks like we're not the only ones willing Kate Middleton to get a move on and give birth as the Queen has spoken about wanting the royal baby to hurry up today.
Quoted while on a visit in the Lake District, the Queen told a schoolgirl, "I'm going on holiday soon so I would like the baby to hurry up and arrive."
Well said, Ma'am!
Asked whether she would like a boy or girl, Her Majesty told 10-year-old Fay Batey that she 'didn't really mind' as long as it came before her trip to Balmoral in nine days.
With the Duchess of Cambridge thought to be around five days overdue (well, we don't know who to trust anymore…) the future Prince or Princess of Cambridge may pop out just in time for the Queen's liking.
The press are all camped outside the St Mary's hospital and it could be any minute now!
