And today it is the job of Star Magazine who say the Duchess is pregnant with twins. To verify this, they've even stuck a gold sticker on the front of the magazine saying 'Palace Confirms' (not a sticker?! Heavens to betsy.)
Prince William apparently gushed this was the "best Father's Day present ever." Oh, and it is two girls, she's not suffering morning sickness and is 'gaining weight.'
But wait, haven't we heard this tripe all before? In March, stateside OK! has claimed that actually, the Duchess of Cambridge (also now known as the Royal baby making machine, here for all your monarchy procreating needs) is pregnant with twin girls.
A 'source' told the mag, "Wills told the queen he'd love to have at least two daughters. With all the boys in his family, he really wants to even up the balance." Because he is Prince William - what he wants, he gets and so lo and behold, Kate is having twin girls.
Oh course, she has already named one of these girls Diana.
Wait, there's more. Back in February, Star Magazine claimed that the Duchess was with child number two, and that she told Prince William on Valentine's Day.
Another 'royal source' reportedly told the mag, "Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled...She was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year. Kate and William are ecstatic!"
This is the third time in three months (the same number of months Kate is apparently pregnant) that Star have claimed the Duchess is up duff, citing her "ear-to-ear smile, shiny hair and luminous skin" as proof.
Sorry America, she's our Duchess, you don't get to make claim to Royal baby news.
