Baby brain actually exists
Usually nicknamed 'baby brain', mums-to-be frequently report that they become more forgetful during pregnancy, oversensitive and less able to focus on logical tasks.
And now researchers at the University of London have found that it actually exists.
In the study, it showed that pregnant women show increased activity in the area of the brain related to emotional skills. During pregnancy, women use the right side of their brain more than new mothers do, as they prepare to bond with their babies.
